Miraizon on Monday released Cinematize 2.02, an upgrade to its utility for extracting audio and video clips from a DVD. The new version features support for DV stream and AVI formats, automatic QuickTime playback in the preview window and more. This is a free update for owners of version 2.x — the full software is US$59.95 as a download or $69.95 in a box, with upgrades from version 1.x available for $39.95 and $49.95, respectively. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2, a G3 processor, 128MB RAM (256MB recommended), 2.5MB hard drive space, QuickTime 6.0 and a DVD-ROM drive or a SuperDrive.
