Astoundit Software on Tuesday released
Webseecon 2.0, the latest version of its utility that turns Internet shortcuts into custom icons approximating the actual Web sites. This upgrade ensures that Webseecon works with Safari, Firefox, Netscape, Camino and OmniWeb, in addition to support for Internet Explorer’s .url shortcuts. It also features a redesigned interface, compatibility with the latest versions of Mac OS X v10.3, faster icon creation, support for dragging and dropping multiple shortcuts and more. Registration is US$9; Astoundit doesn’t note upgrade pricing, if any, on its Web site. Mac OS X v10.2 is required.
