Hot on the heels of Alias’ release of Maya 6.5, the company has also updated its Platinum and Silver Membership Services Programs — special offers that provide Maya users with access to advanced training, support and more.
The Maya Platinum Membership Services Program offers priority access to upgrades, live and online technical support and flexibility in licensing. The Silver Membership Services Program offers users access to more online learning resources, discussion forums and more.
New features in the Platinum program include improved “Alias Insider” case management with automated bug reporting and “super user” access; 18-hour-per-day weekday hotline support; improved response and resolution time; and up to one hour of personal training via phone with an Alias expert support engineer. The Platinum membership costs US$1,299.
New Silver program features include new free downloadable learning tools; access to Maya expert weblogs and access to a textures and shaders database with high-res tilable textures that are production ready. Silver membership costs US$149 annually, or $19.95 per month.
