Canadian developer Marketcircle Inc. on Tuesday released DayLite Mail Integration Module (DMI) 1.0, which adds Apple Mail integration to the DayLite contact management system. The module enables users to export the contents of e-mails directly to DayLite’s SQL database as well as create tasks, appointments, opportunities and projects from within Mail. Pricing is US$39. It requires DayLite 1.7.3, a free upgrade for registered users that readies the software for Mac OS X v10.4 and adds some low-level APIs to support DMI. DayLite requires Mac OS X v10.3.5 or higher and starts at $149 for one user, with discounts available for volume purchases.
