Keynote theme developer Keynote Pro has released MetroBlue for iDVD as well as KeyStation and KeyStation HD, a pair of hybrid themes aimed at users who want to create interactive Keynote-based presentations for kiosks. Taking advantage of the Interactive and Kiosk-mode options that became available in Keynote 2, both themes include fills and palettes, button elements and pre-sized navigation tables.
The standard version of Keynote includes 40 master slides while the HD edition offers 48, all of them optimized for 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratios. The former is US$19.95 while the latter is $28.95. A bundle that includes two other Keynote Pro themes is also available for $48.95. Keynote 2.0 and the Helvetica Neue font face are required.
MetroBlue is a former Keynote theme that’s now available for iDVD. It features two motion menu designs, one in a drop-zone style and one in a menu style, as well as five templates for creating booklets, DVD shell or CD tray liners and disc labels. Pricing is $19.95 and iDVD 4.0, Pages 1.0 and the Hoefler Text font are required. Borderless printing capability is required for printing DVD shell liners on standard letter-size paper.
