Shareware developer Benoit Joossen on Tuesday released version 3.0 of CubeMovie, a utility that uses your pictures to create a slideshow in which the images seem to move around on cubes. This upgrade adds support for the high-definition 16:9 format introduced in iMovie 5.0, in addition to the ability to export slideshows as Keynote presentations. CubeMovie offers picture-cropping capabilities, a headline design tool and over a dozen settings for customizing slideshows. This is a free update for registered users. The full software is US$12 and requires Mac OS X v10.2. Joossen warns that “HD formats may not be supported in older hardware.”
