Concord, Calif.-based Mac repair service TechRestore Inc. on Wednesday announced that they are offering a flat-rate LCD screen replacement program for Apple PowerBook and iBook laptops. Starting at US$399 for iBooks and $499 for PowerBook G4s, TechRestore arranges for overnight shipping and performs the repair itself within 24 hours of receipt, then sends the laptop back.
