Native Instruments has released a demo version of Absynth 3, the latest major release of its software synthesizer for Mac OS X and Windows. New to Absynth 3 is revamped user interface, envelope-controlled surround sound, live input, real-time fractalization, unison mode, advanced envelope control, new special effects and 256 added presets.
Absynth 3 functions as a standalone application and as a plug-in through Audio Units, VST 2 and RTAS-compatible software. The demo includes 32 sound examples.
