Freeverse Software is taking a break from the usual run of board and card games to serve up some arcade-style mayhem in the form of a new action game called Kill Monty.
Evocative of past arcade classics like Robotron 2084 and Smash TV, Kill Monty can be described in two words: Kill everything. You’re attacked from all directions, and it’s your job to blast everything that moves. The game features bosses, powerups and more. A demo will let you get your feet wet, but paying the US$12.95 registration fee unlocks weapons like the Flamethrower and the Railgun. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later, 500MHz or faster CPU, 256MB RAM, 20MB hard disk space.
Kill Monty was created by Justin Ficarrotta, maker of Kill Dr. Coté, an entry into 2004’s uDevGames contest.
