San Francisco-based casual game developer Skunk Studios’ latest original release is Tennis Titans, a new cartoon-style 3D tennis action game for Mac OS X and Windows. The game features two different modes, easy mouse controls, real-time ball physics, comical characters and more.
Traditional Classic Tennis pits you against one of seven different opponents in four different courts set in a forest, tropical island, stadium and Greek arena. You can try to outwit your opponent using special moves like lobs and topspins. There’s also an arcade-style Rings mode in which you aim for floating rings to get points.
Skunk Studios has released other casual games for the Macintosh including the bowling game Gutterball 2, a Frogger-style arcade game called Varmintz, the musical matching game Sveerz, spelling games Spelvin and Word Up, and the falling blocks arcade puzzler QBz.
A playable demo of Tennis Titans limited to 60 minutes of play is available for download from Skunk Studios’ Web site. Tennis Titans cost US$20 to register.
