Pressure Drop on Monday announced DecoDock, a new desktop dock for the iPod shuffle created in Art Deco style. Users place the iPod shuffle upright into the center of the DecoDock. The DecoDock frames the iPod shuffle with lighted columns on either side, atop an arc-shaped base. The base has a spot to store your iPod shuffle’s cap so it doesn’t get lost. Pressure Drop plans to ship the DecoDock in April for US$28.99. It’s available for pre-order now for $24.99.
Pressure Drop also makes the PaperHub, a combination paper tray/USB and FireWire hub; the company also plans to release the TrestleHub, a combination USB and FireWire hub complete with swooping arms and frosted translucent glass platforms for displaying peripherals; and the otherworldly Cruiser, which transforms your AirPort Base Station into something that resembles an alien assault craft. They’re all part of what Pressure Drop refers to as the “Art-Techo Movement,” an effort to fuse art and technology.
