Information Appliance Associates (IAA) has released PocketMac Safari Scrapbook, a tool that automatically collects and archives the history produced by by your Safari Web browser, saving text and content for later retrieval. It retails for US$17.95.
Safari normally archives its own History files for a few days then flushes them; unless you bookmark the pages you’ve visited, it’s possible to lose track of information that may have interested you that you want to return to. PocketMac Safari Scrapbook catalogs that content in a searchable database. You can also block specific sites or undesirable file types from being saved. PocketMac Safari Scrapbook has no limit on the amount of data it can store. System requirements call for Safari, Mac OS X v10.3 or higher and 4MB hard disk space.
