Oddlabs has released Tribal Trouble, a new real-time strategy (RTS) game that’s available for Mac OS X, Linux and windows. The game features massive battles as Vikings and natives go up against one another’s formidable forces.
“Once upon a time, a gang of viking raiders got so drunk celebrating their latest successful pillaging trip, that they got lost on the high sea and ended up stranding on a small group of tropical islands. Here they chose to stay for a while, much to the annoyance of the local natives,” said the Web site.
In the game, you compete against the computer or against other players as you lead your kinsmen, be they Vikings or natives, to new discoveries and victories.
A feature-limited demo version is available for download. The full version costs US$24.95. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later and Java 1.4 or later, a 700MHz or faster CPU, 128MB RAM, 500MB hard disk space, ATI Radeon 7200 or better or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better graphics with 32MB VRAM or more.
