IDG World Expo on Thursday announced that this summer’s Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston, Mass. will feature educational conference sessions focusing on Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger.” The event happens from July 11 – 14, 2005 at the Hynes Convention Center.
Tiger courses will include sessions headed by industry veterans like New York Times colummist David Pogue, MacFixIt founder Ted Landau, Macworld and Playlist’s own Dan Frakes, and Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus.
In related news, Boston’s own Berklee College of Music will present a music festival featuring select Berklee artists who depend on Macs to compose and produce music. The Macworld-Berklee Music Festival, kicking off the week before Macworld Expo and continuing during the event, will feature Boston’s own Birdsongs of the Mesozoic. It happens at Berklee’s David Friend Recital Hall, across the street from the Hynes Convention Center. Macworld Expo will also showcase Berklee’s Dream Studios, a simulated state-of-the-art music studio created by Berklee faculty and students.
IDG World Expo and Mac Publishing LLC are business units of International Data Group (IDG).
