Realmac Software on Thursday announced the release of RapidWeaver 3.1.1, an updated version of their graphical Web site creation software for Mac OS X. The new release improves stability for FTP and .Mac publishing and also enhances cross-platform browser compatibility.
The new update builds on the recent 3.1 release, which redesigned and streamlined its Web page creation to comply with Web standards like XHTML and CSS; the developers say that any site created using RapidWeaver validates with validator.w3.org.
RapidWeaver includes different page styles that you can use to create a site for blogging, photos, sharing movies and files and other tasks. In addition to a host of included designs, third-party designers have created myriad add-on designs for RapidWeaver as well. RapidWeaver costs US$34.95; the 3.1.1 update is free for registered users.
