Controversial PC game developer and publisher Running With Scissors announced that its outrageous first-person shooter Postal 2 will soon net a single-player expansion pack called “Apocalypse Weekend.” And they’ve confirmed that their Mac developer is working on an installer that will allow the expansion to work with the Mac release of Postal 2.
Postal 2 is a first-person shooter that’s actually been banned in some countries due to its offensive content. The game puts you in the role of an out-of-work software developer, once employed by the very developer of the game itself, who goes on a week-long shooting spree in Paradise, Ariz. “Apocalypse Weekend” picks up the story during the 48 hours after the original rampage, adding 20 new maps, 10 original weapons, new characters and new weapons as well.
Apocalypse Weekend’s price was not announced. Please don’t visit the Running With Scissors Web site if you’re easily offended.
