Authentication developer CRYPTOCard on Monday announced the release of CRYPTO-Server 6.3, the company’s authentication solution for Mac OS X. According to the developer, the new version of CRYPTO-Server takes advantage of Tiger’s newly developed support for smart card environments, allowing users to access servers via LAN, VPN or Web-based solutions. CRYPTO-Server uses a multi-function smart card, USB token, hardware token or software token in combination with a users PIN to allow what the company describes as a ‘One-PIN-and-You’re-In’ authenticated access. A five-user bundle is available for $499.
