MySQL management tool, Navicat 2005 was released on Wednesday adding new features including SSH Tunneling, data synchronization and a built-in SQL Console. With SSH Tunnel, database user can connect to their remote MySQL server without the need of configuring the user privileges, according to the developer. The Synchronization Manager allows the user to synchronize data and data structures across databases and the SQL Console allows the management of MySQL through command line. The downloadable version of Navicat costs US$99 – a demo is available from the developers Web site.
