Sonnet Technologies Inc. has introduced the PodFreq mini, an FM transmitter, dock, and case for Apple’s iPod mini. It enables you to listen to your iPod music through any nearby stereo. Included is a car charger, car cradle, USB 2.0 cable and soft carrying pouch, as well as a flip stand. The PodFreq mini is coming in July for US$99.95.
A telescoping antenna broadcasts the iPod’s music stream to a nearby FM radio, in the car, home or office, and the tuner broadcasts to any clear station between 88.1 and 107.9MHz. A backlit digital display lets you select the frequency. The PodFreq mini draws power from the iPod, rather than a separate battery, and can be hooked up to a car charger. It’s compatible with all iPod mini models.
