Ambrosia Software on Tuesday released an update for its popular screen capture utility,
Snapz Pro X. The new version (2.0.2) adds full compatibility with Apple’s Mac OS X Tiger operating system and fixed several bugs including a bug in AmbrosiaAudioSupport that could cause the audio in a movie to stutter or get out of synch after 10+ minutes of recording. Snapz Pro X also now uses hardware acceleration for many aspects of operation, which will make it faster on many machines, according to the company. Snapz Pro 2 Image Capture costs $29 and Snapz Pro 2 Movie Capture costs $69 – upgrade options are available from the company’s Web site.
