iDevGames has initiated its latest short-term Mac game development contest, called 21 Days Later: Predator. iDevGames’ 21 Days Later contests have been created to inspire original Mac game development in a short time frame.
“From aliens to cyborgs, predators, which are usually controlled by A.I., are to be avoided in game worlds,” said iDevGames’ editor in chief, Carlos Camacho. “For the next 21 days, iDevGames invites Mac developers to pay homage to our OS of choice by creating a game which places the player at the top of the food chain. Be it teeth, claw, poison, horns, cunning, blade or ballistics, it’s time to make them prey.”
The contest opens today, and applications will be accepted through June 16, 2005. The game entry deadline itself is June 23, 2005. The contest is open to all developers except where prohibited. Game developers who win the contest will receive prizes courtesy of Spymac.
