Pro Tools-maker, Digidesign, and audio hardware manufacturer M-Audio and REMIX magazine have announced an audio event in New York City that the companies describe as “three days of total technology immersion.” The event started today and runs through Sunday, June 5 2005 – sessions include Pro Tools Hands-On Training, Redefining the Remix and Radio Production & Remixing in Pro Tools. Joining the event as celebrity guests are GrandMixer DXT (DJ/producer, Herbie Hancock), Liquid Todd (radio DJ/remixer, Talib Kweli, Groove Armada) and Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live band drummer, Sheryl Crow).
