Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston will have a huge focus on music show organizers said in a statement on Tuesday. A total of 13 Mac/music-related educational sessions will take place during Macworld. Sessions include a Power Tools Conference track titled, “Advanced Mac Music Production,” “Mac Music 101 – A Practical Introduction to Making Music with Your Mac,” “GarageBand,” “GarageBand Advanced Techniques,” “Be a Mac Musician/DJ: Getting Started with Electric Mayhem,” “Recording Your Band,” and many others.
Macworld Expo and the Berklee College of Music will present a free music festival, featuring select Berklee artists who compose and produce their works on the Mac. Birdsongs of the Mesozoic will headline the festival. In addition, Macworld attendees can download music festival music to their iPod for free at the Macworld exhibit hall.
