Bare Bones Software on Wednesday released BBEdit 8.2.2, a minor update to its professional HTML and text editor for the Mac. Billed as a “maintenance release” to the software, BBEdit 8.2.2 fixes bugs and adds minor interface refinements, according to the developer. The update is available for download and is free for registered version 8 users.
BBEdit 8.2.2 requires Mac OS X v10.3.5 or later. It costs US$199, although it’s available for $129 to users of TextWrangler, Bare Bones’ free text editor, as well as users of competitive products.
