Aspyr Media Inc. on Friday announced final system requirements for its forthcoming release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005, a golf game for the Mac. Requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.8 or later, G4/1.2GHz or faster, 256MB RAM, 2.5GB hard disk space, ATI Radeon 9000 or Nvidia GeForce FX5200 or better 3D graphics with at least 32MB VRAM, and DVD drive. Aspyr notes that Tiger Woods 2005 runs best on G5 systems equipped with at least 512MB RAM and 64MB VRAM.
Online gaming requirements support 2 to 4 players over the Internet or 2 to 8 players through a Local Area Network (LAN) connection. Internet play requires a broadband connection, and Internet and LAN play is restricted specifically to Mac to Mac connections, via GameRanger.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 puts you in control of famed pro golfer Tiger Woods and many other PGA players, as well as “custom” golfers you can create yourself. In addition to levels based on some of the most famous courses in the world, this version supports “Tiger Proofing,” course alteration technology that lets you modify the course dynamics, add lengthier tees, tighter fairways, undulations to greens, higher rough and more.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 is rated “E” for Everyone by the ESRB. It’s available for pre-order for US$39.99. The game is expected to ship in July.
