Los Angeles, Calif.-based TEN Technology Inc. on Monday introduced two new versions of its naviPro eX wireless remote control. One works with Apple’s iPod mini, and the other has been designed to match the iPod U2 Special Edition. All versions of the naviPro eX cost US$49.95.
The naviPro eX is a 13-button remote control that enables users to access their iPod’s playlists, albums and audio books, shuffle and repeat modes, as well as all the standard remote control functions. The device also provides easy access to audiobooks, and can be used to navigate slideshows on the iPod photo.
The naviPro eX for iPod mini fits in place on top of the iPod mini and comes with an aluminum stand to hold the mini in place while it’s charging. The iPod U2 Special Edition is clad in black to keep with the custom color of that particular iPod version.
