San Jose, Calif.-based 4D Inc. announced Monday that it has released 4th Dimension 2004.2, an update to its database software for Mac OS X. The new release gains support for Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” and new enhancements. You can download the update from 4D’s Web site.
4D 2004.2 adds more than 300 new fixes, according to the developer, and also enhances backward compatibility with previous versions of both 4D and 4D Server. Support for Greek and Turkish, Chinese and Arabic has been improved with this new release as well.
Pricing for new licenses starts at US$349. System requirements call for a G3 or better processor, 800 x 600 pixel display, Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later and 256MB RAM.
