Macware on Thursday announced the release of PhotoEdit 2, a new version of its photo manipulation software for Mac OS X. The new version includes a new Smart Crop feature, which lets you select any part of your photo for standard print sizing.
Also new in this release is a dots per inch (DPI) adjustment, new filters and effects, an effects editor that lets you create your own effects, and better redeye removal. PhotoEdit also features sharpen, smudge and blur tools, resolution adjustment, hue, saturation, brightness and contrast controls and other abilities.
PhotoEdit 2 costs US$29.99. System requirements include Mac OS X v10.2.6 or later, 128MB RAM and 20MB hard disk space.
