Extensis on Tuesday introduced an update to its Digital Asset Management (DAM) software Portfolio 7 that includes added support for Raw digital camera formats, Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” and Adobe Creative Suite 2. Portfolio 7.0.6 is a free update for registered users.
Portfolio Raw Filter 2 adds support for 14 new camera formats. Supported cameras include Nikon D2x, Nikon D2hs, Nikon Coolpix 8400, Nikon Coolpix 8700, Nikon Coolpix 8800, Olympus E300 (AKA EVOLT), Olympus C8080, Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (AKA 350D), Canon Powershot G6, Canon Powershot S70, Canon Powershot Pro 1, Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D and Pentax ist DS.
Portfolio 7 starts at US$199.95. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or higher, G3 or faster, QuickTime 6.4 or later, 256MB RAM and 150MB free hard disk space.
