Parliant announced at Macworld Expo Boston on Monday, PhoneValet Anywhere, which gives users Web-based access to core PhoneValet Message Center features. With PhoneValet Anywhere and Message Center 3.0, users can access PhoneValet messages and reports, call log and phone book information from a Mac, PC, Linux or Solaris-based computer through any Internet connection.
Mac and PC users can also utilize caller ID popups that announce caller names and numbers as they come in. In addition, Mac users can hear voice announcements for those incoming calls.
New features in PhoneValet Message Center 3.0 include custom ring-tones; call blocking for unwanted calls; individualized voice-mail greetings; and enhanced Spotlight Search of PhoneValet Message Center call logs for Macs equipped with OS X 10.4 “Tiger.”
PhoneValet Anywhere is $79.95 for the web server software and a two-user license. Additional user licenses are $19.95 each. PhoneValet Anywhere requires the PhoneValet Message Center 3.0 hardware and software package for Mac OS X, priced at $199.95. Existing PhoneValet 2.x customers can upgrade for $29.95 per phone line.
