SolidSpace LLC on Monday introduce managed hosting and Web server co-location services using Apple’s Mac mini. Plans start at US$24.95 per month.
Services provided include customer-controlled remote rebooting, server monitoring, the “LiveStats” statistics reporting tool, daily backup service, managed service and “Solid Standby,” which guarantees a similar or more robust unit if your system needs to be taken down for repair.
The services are aimed at companies looking for Web site and server hosting and co-location using infrastructure and bandwidth separate from their own businesses. SolidSpace LLC offers “Standard” service using the mini, as well as “Premium,” better suited for better performance and high availability, according to the company.
Plans start as low as $24.95 per month for 100GB of traffic and two static IP addresses.
