WiebeTech LLC announced that it’s shipping IDE and Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drives using mechanisms manufactured by Hitachi. Prices start at US$669.95 depending on configuration.
Using the new 500GB drives provide higher top capacities on WiebeTech’s RAID systems, as well. WiebeTech now sells a TrayDock eSATA (external SATA) configuration for $2,999.95, with an unformatted capacity of 2 terabytes (TB).
