Aspyr Media Inc. on Wednesday announced final system requirements for LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, an action game featuring Legos in the Star Wars universe.
System requirements for the game call for Mac OS X v10.3.8 or later, G4/1.2GHz or faster, 512MB RAM, 2GB free hard disk space, ATI Radeon 9000 or Nvidia GeForce FX5200 or better 3D graphics with 32MB VRAM or more and DVD drive. Recommended systems include a G5-based system with at least 64MB VRAM.
Aspyr notes: “Because all users have different ideas of what it means for a game to be ‘playable’, some users may feel a game plays fine on a Mac that is slightly below the minimum requirements. Aspyr bases its recommendations on testing various configurations against the requirements set.”
LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game lets you play through the stories depicted in all three “prequel” movies” in one game, from podracing on Tatooine to the battle to repel the droid onslaught on Geonosis. You can relive Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn’s battle with Darth Maul and much more, too, all using LEGO-style toys. Rated “E” for “Everyone” by the ESRB, the game costs US$29.99 and will begin shipping in August.
