Griffin Technology Inc. on Thursday introduced Chameleon Cases for Apple’s iPod mini. They cost US$14.99 each and come in 16 different designs. They’re scheduled to begin shipping in August, though Griffin is now accepting pre-orders.
The Chameleon Cases are manufactured from a polyvinyl material that Griffin claims is “much tougher than regular silicone cases.” The front control wheel is protected and functional. Also included is a 21-inch lanyard so you can wear the mini around your neck like an iPod shuffle and an on/off belt clip. It’s easily removable and form-fitting.
Designs include abstract images like dots and spiral patterns, fruit images like kiwis, watermelons and, of course, Apples, graffiti, a tao pattern, skull and crossbones and more — visit Griffin’s Web site for details.
