Destineer Publishing Corp.’s Bold Games imprint on Wednesday announced that they’re partnering with Gabriel Interactive to bring two new John Deere-branded casual games to Windows and Macintosh this September. The games will cost US$19.99 and are based on the first two kids’ books produced in Parachute Publishing LLC’s John Deere for Kids book program.
Bold Games is the sister imprint to MacSoft, producers of Halo, Close Combat: First to Fight, Railroad Tycoon 3 and other games for the Mac. MacSoft has also published family-friendly casual game releases like Dora the Explorer Animal Adventures.
The two new Bold Games titles include Welcome to Merriweather Farm, which lets kids join Johnny Tractor and his friends Allie Gator and Corey Combine as they plow, harvest, take goods to market and take care of animals on the farm. Busy Days in Deerfield Valley joins Danny Dozer, Barney Backhoe and friends as they dig, lift and help out around town fixing a bridge, building a library and more. The new games will join another Bold Games John Deere-licensed title already available, “John Deere American Farmer,” published for Windows.
