If you’re interested in participating in January’s Macworld Conference & Expo 2006 in San Francisco, Calif. as a conference presenter, the show’s coordinator, IDG World Expo, currently has a Call for Papers open. The deadline for submitting an application is August 19, 2005.
The conference programs consist of events focused on professionals and users alike. Formats for the conferences include the Power Tools conferences, two day in-depth programs; one-day workshop programs taught by one or two instructors; Hands-On MacLabs, three-hour sessions limited to 30 attendees who bring their own laptops with software pre-installed; and Birds-of-a-Feather meetings, casual, informal discussions where attendees can trade info with other like-minded people.
