LAJ Design on Friday announced the release of Widget Maker X v1.0. The software lets you create, modify and manage Dashboard Widgets in Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger.” The software costs US$16.50 to purchase.
Dashboard Widgets typically contain Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) and JavaScript data. Widget Maker X exposes this content and provides users with the tools they need to make changes to existing widgets. A built-in “Widget Wizard” lets users create Widgets, too. Based on some of the example projects Apple provides, it gives users a “starting widget” that has all of the base features, like flipping front to back and saving preferences.
A demo version runs for five days. Afterwards, you are required to register the application to keep using it.
