Shareware developer Michael Tsai has updated SpamSieve, a Bayesian-based spam filtering application for Mac OS X. In the latest release Tsai said various improvements were made to increase SpamSieve’s accuracy. SpamSieve 2.3.2 also added an option to automatically quit the application when the mail client quits and when you reset the corpus, SpamSieve automatically creates a dated backup so that it’s possible to revert, if need be. Tsai also fixed a problem in Eudora when multiple spam plug-ins are installed. SpamSieve supports Mac OS X 10.2.6 or later and works with Apple Mail, Emailer, Entourage, Outlook Express, Eudora 5.2 or later (Sponsored or Paid), Mailsmith (bundled with Mailsmith 2.0.2), GyazMail 1.2 and PowerMail.
