Aspyr Media Inc. announced Monday that it will release SimCity 4 Deluxe in September. It’s a compilation pack that includes SimCity 4 and its expansion pack, SimCity 4 Rush Hour, together in one.
SimCity is the latest iteration of the popular city building simulation game. SimCity 4 allows you to build the largest region of cities ever seen in a SimCity game, complete with separate agricultural, commercial, industrial and residential sections. You control every aspect of how your city operates from delivering electricity to residents to how traffic flow is managed, fighting crime and responding to crises. Sim City 4 Rush Hour expands the fun by focusing more emphasis on transportation, letting you build complex rail, water and air transportation systems.
System requirements for Sim City 4 and Rush Hour call for Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later, G4/700MHz or faster, 256MB RAM or more, 2GB free hard disk space, ATI Radeon 7500 or Nvidia GeForce2 MX or better 3D graphics with 32MB VRAM or more. It’s rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
Aspyr’s Web site wasn’t updated with information about SimCity 4 Deluxe, but said they’d soon accept pre-orders.
