Sony Electronics Inc. on Thursday announced new black-clad StylePro and DeluxePro LCD displays compatible with Macs and PCs, and aimed at business users rather than consumers. Made in 17-inch and 19-inch configurations, features of the new displays include digital inputs, height adjustment and more; the StylePro displays are now available starting at US$315; the DeluxePro displays will be available in September for about $410.
The StylePro touts digital inputs and one-touch height adjustment. They also feature tilt and 350 degree swivel, front-mounted headphone jacks and “ErgoBright” technology for luminance adjustment.
The DeluxePro LCD panels also feature digital inputs and heigh adjustment capabilities; stereo speakers are added as a standard feature. Select models also feature a switched USB hub that acts as a Keyboard, Video and Mouse (KVM) switch to enable the display to be used by more than one computer. DeluxePro LCDs also have five gamma presents to adjust colors quickly.
Sony’s Web site did not appear to be updated with information on the new models as MacCentral posted this article.
