Mesa Dynamics has released Amnesty Screen Saver, a Tiger and Panther-compatible screen saver module that displays Dashboard Widgets that animate around the screen while remaining functional and active. It’s free, and requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later.
It’s the screen saver variant of Mesa’s full Amnesty Widget Browser application, which lets Dashboard Widgets operate free of Tiger’s Dashboard environment, even allowing many of them to work on Panther. Installation of the Amnesty Widget Browser is optional and not required, according to the developer.
