Belkin Corp. will introduce this November the TuneFM for iPod, an FM stereo transmitter for your iPod. The device connects to the remote and headphone jack on your third or fourth-generation iPod and iPod photo, and lets you listen to your iPod’s music through an FM receiver in your car or in your home. It will cost US$39.99 when it hits store shelves.
A large numeric LED display shows the FM frequency the TuneFM is tuned to. You can program two presets. Two large buttons let you scan the FM signal range for open frequency. No batteries are required; it draws its power off the iPod. A rear hold switch locks the buttons to prevent unintended toggling.
