Belkin Corp. on Monday introduced the TuneSync for iPod, a peripheral that combines an iPod dock, stereo out jack, and five-port USB 2.0 hub in one. It’s coming this November for US$59.99.
The TuneSync features a top-loading dock connector that enables you to insert any third or fourth-generation iPod or iPod mini to sync to your computer and charge. On its back, the TuneSync features a five-port USB 2.0 hub, so you can use it to hook up additional USB devices to your computer. LEDs monitor device activity and display master power status. If you want to connect a stereo, powered speakers or headset, you can do so using the stereo out jack, which rests on the unit’s side.
Belkin’s Web site had not been updated with information about the TuneSync as MacCentral posted this article.
