on Tuesday announced that its 360i, 200i and DL5200 disc publishers are now available with a customized version of Charismac Engineering’s Discribe software, enabling Mac OS X users to burn and print CDs and DVDs automatically. The software works on G3 and newer Macs with Mac OS X v10.2 or later.
Rimage’s CD and DVD autoloaders are designed to automate the creation of discs for small businesses who need to produce professional-looking optical media in small batches. The Rimage 360i and 2000i systems incorporate inkjet printing, while the DL5200 uses Everest II thermal printing. Systems start at €2,295 (US$2,807).
