CS Odessa has announced ConceptDraw WebWave, a new cross-platform application due out on September 27, 2005 that enables users to plan their Web site’s design and structure. ConceptDraw WebWave will cost US$299 — special early bird pricing is available. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later.
Potential applications for WebWave include creating a site map, developing Web site structure diagrams, full page mock ups, Web site plans, file models or Web site presentations. It’s specifically designed for professional Web designers, webmasters and Web design companies.
WebWave includes more than 4,590 graphics, shapes, templates and wizards. The drawing tools include grid and snap tools, alignment, distribution and Make Same tools, “smart connectors” that link lines to their shapes, a flexible interface that allows you to customize toolbars and floating dialogs and much more.
ConceptDraw WebWave includes a color scheme generator, Web site file structure scanner and task-specific wizards that help you create the diagrams and drawings you’re looking for. In addition to integrated drawing tools, the software features the ability to connect to any Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)-compliant database. What’s more, it can import from and export to a variety of different raster, vector, multimedia and text formats including HTML, Flash, PDF and MS Visio’s XML.
