Westinghouse Digital on Wednesday introduced a 17-inch widescreen LCD monitor that’s Mac and PC compatible. The new monitor is available now for US$229.
Part of their “HD-Grade” line, the new display features a single Digital Visual Interface (DVI) input, so it can work digitally with new Macs equipped with DVI input. It also sports 1280 x 768 native resolution, 400 cd/m2 maximum brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, response time of 15 milliseconds and a 170-degree viewing angle. The new display is encased in a white chassis with silver trim.
