Fremont, Calif. ArcSoft Inc. on Tuesday announced the release of VideoImpression 2 for Mac OS X. VideoImpression 2 is a video editing application that lets users combine video clips, still images, music and special effects. It’s available for US$49.99. System requirements call for Mac OS 9.2, Mac OS X v10.2 or higher, including Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger”, G4/400MHz or faster, 128MB RAM, 500MB hard disk space, QuickTime 6.0 or higher, and 16-bit graphics.
VideoImpression 2 features a step-by-step creation process where users assemble video clips and stills on a storyboard. Audio files can be added on two separate, overlapping audio tracks, and transition effects can be added between each video and photo. Projects can then be saved and exported as single video files.
You can capture videos and photos from connected devices, trim video clips, enhance digital photos, record narration, add intro and ending text credits and more. VideoImpression 2 also comes bundled with creative content to help you get started.
