Escondido, Calif.-based ScreenTime Media on Wednesday announced the release of
Screentime for Flash 3.0. The software converts Macromedia Flash MX SWF files into screen savers, packaging them as one-click installers. Screentime for Flash costs US$199, with free upgrades for users of Screentime 2.5 or later.
Screentime for Flash 3.0 adds supports for 50 new custom “STF” functions, including the ability to download files, set custom wallpapers, read, write, copy and delete files, detect if a computer is connected to the Internet and more. The functions happen from within Flash, using ActionScript.
