AppleScript Pro Sessions, an AppleScript training seminar series, is Coming to Chicago from October 31 – November 4, 2005. Featured at the event will be Matt Neuburg, author of “AppleScript: The Definitive Guide” from O’Reilly and TidBITS contributor. AppleScript Pro Sessions happens at the Indian Lakes Resort — an early bird discount is available through September 15, 2005.
AppleScript Pro Sessions are five-day seminars designed to provide in-depth AppleScript training for neophytes and experts alike. Coordinated by Shane Stanley and Ray Robertson, AppleScript Pro Sessions spend each day focused on a different topic. Day one looks at AppleScript in general; day two focuses on how AppleScript works with applications. Day 3 focuses on Adobe InDesign’s support of the workflow technology. Day 4 is focused on graphics, images and PDF. Day five offers info on AppleScript Studio and Automator, two powerful tools provided by Apple to help users get the most from the technology.
Neuberg will lead the AppleScript Studio and Automator session. Other sessions will cover scripting in Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, QuarkXPress, FileMaker, BBEdit and other applications.
