Tokyo, Japan-based iPod accessory maker Tunewear on Friday introduced Poptune for nano, a “wearable wrapper” for Apple’s new iPod nano. The wrapper comes in a pack of 12 different patterns and will ship in October; pricing wasn’t announced.
The Poptune for nano covers the surface of the nano to protect it from scratches and damage. It’s held on using an adhesive material that is “clean removing,” according to Tunewear, and that can be reused as long as the sticky backing is kept in good condition.
The 12-pack includes patters like “Aloha,” “Dragon,” “Sakura” and others, including camouflage, polka-dot and several solid colors. Poptune allows full access to the iPod nano’s headphone jack and controls.
